cam + raylene {engagement}
The third time was indeed a charm. Remember this rainy Valentine's session? Well, two days after we got soaked out, we were able to finish what we started. And I couldn't be happier. I totally love this couple... their love for each other is evidenced through thoughtfulness, gentleness and this air of sweet purity. I also love that they have given me the honor of photographing their Okanagan wedding this summer. Through some of our chats, I have discovered that Raylene and I are completely on the same page when it comes to her wedding details, locations, and style in general (fellow Joe fresh gal)...so I'm already counting down the days until July 2nd!!!! Until then, here are the sweet lovebirds on a cloudy morning in Clayburn Village...

they've got that loving feeling... {photo booth}
I officially heart photo booth photography. It is pretty common to see photo booths set up at wedding receptions and events these days, but it is something I had yet to try. I will be running a photo booth at one of my weddings this summer, so thought it would be a good idea to do one before hand.
My event of choice? Tuesday night Young Life Club in Mission, BC. I love this ministry, and not just because my hubby works for them, but because of their mission statement and subsequently, the way that the next generation is impacted.
I have to give props to my assistant, Taylor (pictured above), for helping me throughout the night...she rocks. Enough of me, here are some kiddos near and dear to my heart :)
Aaaaaaand.....if you are interested in having a photobooth at your event, feel free to drop me a note.

avisar {corporate}
It's almost that season again....tax season! Meet some of the friendly faces of Avisar Chartered Accountants. Last week, I had the opportunity to take some updated head shots at this office in Langley, BC. And let me tell you something....accountants are very fun people! I was greeted with warmth and and made to feel totally at home throughout the session. The environment is obviously professional and well established; combine that with genuine personalities and senses of humour, and it seems like a great place to work...or take your business! cam + raylene {love day in the rain}
This session today brought me both frustration and joy. The source of frustration was typical of any BC photographer...the rain. This was the second time I have had to reschedule with this sweet couple and I was SO excited to have the opportunity to do their engagement photos on Valentine's day. After several texts and calls back and forth this afternoon, we decided to go for it...the rain seemed to be taking a breather and we were going to take advantage. A lot can change in five minutes. We stuck it out for about ten minutes in the rain before calling it a day and hoping our third booking will be the charm.
In the meantime...I think these photos are charming enough to hold us over until our actual session.
