brian + gina {victoria engagement photography}

They met two years ago in New York City. After an unfortunate luggage incident, Brian was suffering from a bloody toe. Gina, a nursing student, noticed his plight and offered her expertise in first aid. One bandaged toe, a few drinks, dinner and Brian was convinced. He threw his sweet Canadian charm at the American beauty and they have been together ever since. As we discussed the story of their random meeting, Gina said, "every love story has it's beginning and end." Brian replied, all matter of fact, "there is no end." Yep...that's the charm!
Brian is the younger brother of one of my oldest friends. So, when I got his email about wedding photography this summer, I was thrilled!
Steve and I met up with this awesome couple in downtown Victoria on one of the last days of 2011. The rain held out long enough for us to capture the first half of their session. Just a warning...this post is looooong. There were so many images to choose from, and we all know how terrible I am at that.
Part two of their session was shot yesterday at Clover Point and Beacon Hill Park....stay tuned for that post later this week!
