It was here that he asked her to be his wife. On a cold, dark night in December amidst dozens of candles and friends hiding in the bushes, ready to take pictures. Up at the peak of Queen Elizabeth Park, on a bench by the fountain, there is still a charred piece of cement that marks the spot. Kind of fitting to have a lasting imprint of such a moment.
We met up with Heather + Matthew on Easter Sunday, to document their engagement in a location so obviously significant to the couple. It was a beautiful day. We got to know each other a bit and chatted wedding plans - all the while chasing shady spots and dodging tourists. It was a great afternoon in every way and we so look forward to meeting up again at their wedding this August!
