This session has been in the works for a while now. Hong and I started emailing almost a year ago, planning for both this UBC engagement session and her wedding to Graham in June 2013. After checking out each others adventures on Instagram, it was so great to finally meet in person this past week. It was pretty much love at first sight. The petite beauty met me at the door to the Vancouver School of Theology (which is basically a castle) holding the most adorable hot pink dress. As a color fanatic, I knew these photos would be some of my favourite.
The two are both native Chilliwack folk, but their story began when Graham offered to show Hong around campus almost 6 years ago. Fast forward five years, and under the guise of celebrating his acceptance into med school, Graham proposed to Hong on the balcony of a Seattle hotel room after a day of spa pampering and shopping. This guy knows his stuff :)
Graham + Hong ~ I couldn't be more thrilled to be your photographer. I truly enjoyed roaming the campus that holds such a special place in your hearts (and is now officially my new favourite place to shoot). Until next June....
