.dan + angie. victoria maternity photography

A little less than 20 months ago, (yes, I actually counted) I met Dan + Angie for their engagement session. A few months later, Steve and I had the wonderful job of photographing their wedding! Then, this past September, we met up in Victoria for a one year anniversary session (eeek! I never even got to posting it!). At that session, we probably gabbed more than we photographed, but it was just so great to see these two again! I teasingly asked if the next time I saw them might be a maternity session. Little did we know...not even Dan + Angie, that she was already pregnant at that session!! In fact, Angie texted me a few days later apologizing for unknowingly lying to me about her maternal state :)
Fast forward almost 8 months, and we met up again at Island View beach for a mini maternity session. I am so excited to see what this baby turns out to be. For the record..I'm team pink :) Dan + Angie...thank you, thank you for letting me be a part of some of your special moments...you're going to be amazing!

.paul + elise. new westminster quay engagement photography

I love this couple. And not just because they bought my kids ice cream. I mean, who buys their photographer's children ice cream at their engagement session??? Paul + Elise. (See if you can find a picture in the blog post!) They are that couple..the kind that sparkles and just oozes love and beauty. After several years together, these two will tie the knot this summer in a what I know will be a gorgeous, backyard wedding. After meeting them, Steve and I are even more excited for their big day.
Being that it is spring in the West Coast, our session day dawned with rainy clouds and grey skies. Paul + Elise chose to have their session by the market at the New Westminster Quay, close to their home. I am SO thrilled with how these turned out...how there just happened to be a beautiful indoor wall planter, and colorful flower carts. The couple are also huge fans of the movie UP, which is where the balloons and one of their favorite Victorian homes in the neighborhood came in to play...
