This little beauty of mine turns SIX today.
Our precious "Maya in the Middle."
Sandwiched between two very stubborn personalities, Maya is our... happy-go-lucky, easiest to please, eager to help, and sweeter than sugar ...little love.
Her wonderful kindergarten teacher totally nailed it on her report card...a keen sense of justice (because "fairness" is virtually impossible with 2 sisters) and a kind and sharing heart.
That is so our girl.
Maya is always there for a hug just when I need one or even when I feel like I'm too busy for one.
She is the first to complete a chore for me, and even anticipates what needs to be done.
Despite their shenanigans, she loves her sisters and her heart is soft to their hurts.
She got glasses earlier this year and wanted Halle to pick the color - because it wasn't fair that she was the only one who got glasses.
She loves school and church and her friends in both places.
She loves her cousins...especially Rupert. She even changed her birthday party theme from spa to underwater. She didn't think Rupert would like the nail polish.
Maya - you are such an important part of our family. We are so incredibly proud of you - of the way you love others and your sincere and giving heart.
